Our private GP surgery is one of many medical and fitness services that we offer at Acer House Practice, providing patients with prompt access to a range of healthcare professionals to treat illnesses and conditions, along with preventive courses of action to avoid recurrence.
We provide patients with access to the same range of services as NHS GP surgeries but with many added benefits, including shorter waiting times, longer appointments, greater convenience, and a personal service – all within a quiet and relaxed setting.
Our resident GP, Dr Jonathan Watts, has worked in general practice for more than 20 years and will be a familiar face to some of our patients, having lived and worked in this area throughout his career!
Prompt Access & Personalised Services
Our GP surgery offers patients shorter waiting times for appointments and flexible surgery hours.
We give all our patients longer appointment times because we believe in the value of taking time to listen to patients concerns before carefully examining any problems.
Dr Watts will discuss his findings with you and explain his diagnosis, before advising you about any prescribed treatment.
If required, he will provide you with options for further investigations, which may include referral for further investigations such as blood tests or scans. We have established relationships with local hospitals and specialist centres for our referrals, urgent imaging, and advanced tests.
All patients also have access to our expert in-house medical and fitness practitioners – including our specialist musculoskeletal consultant who works in sports medicine.
If appropriate, Dr Watts can refer you to another member of the team (e.g. podiatrist, dietician, or physiotherapist) to provide you with a complete, holistic, healthcare service, tailored around your needs.
The GP surgery is located at our bright, modern practice in picturesque Farningham village, near Sevenoaks.
Acer House GP Practice offers:
- Consultation, examination and diagnosis
- Private prescriptions
- Face-to-face and online appointments
- Referrals for fast investigations (such as blood tests or scans at a location convenient to the patient
- Medical examinations such as blood pressure, ECG, auscultations (an assessment of heart and lung function), and other in-person medical assessments
- Urgent referrals to private consultants or communication with NHS specialists, if required
- 45-minute ‘Wellness screening’ appointments (coming soon)
- Personable, individualised, support and a warm welcome!
£150 for a 30-minute consultation
