As part of this partnership, Clinical Director Peter Horobin was invited to speak at Technogym’s international conference, presenting alongside Montell Douglas, the
first British woman to compete in both the Summer and Winter Olympic Games.
Montell Douglas is a long-standing patient and supporter of Acer House Practice, and her Olympic bobsleigh top is proudly displayed within the clinic. It sits alongside
items donated by several other Team GB athletes and Olympians who have worked with the practice, reflecting the trusted relationships we have built with high-performance performers.

Professional & International Clinical Contribution
Members of the Acer House Practice clinical team have contributed to healthcare, sport and rehabilitation beyond the clinic setting. Several clinicians have provided medical, musculoskeletal and rehabilitation support at major international sporting events, including the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games and Paralympic Games.
Alongside clinical work, members of the team are actively involved in teaching and professional education, lecturing on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at
